THE HERITAGE SOCIETY of PACIFIC GROVE

September 30th,
October 1st & 2nd
After a two-year hiatus, Butterfly Days
returns this year with a full schedule of events for its 2022 festival and as John Steinbeck described this iconic Pacific Grove event
– it’s a Hooptedoodle!

Friday, September 30th
5:00 to 8:00pm
This evening is a welcome home evening to our monarchs, PG alumni, and friends. Downtown will take on a carnivalesque atmosphere with street entertainers and music – it’ll be a Hooptedoodle of an evening!

Saturday, October 1st
11:00am to 4:00pm
The day starts with the school district’s iconic Butterfly Parade and Bazaar, followed by events at
Chautauqua Hall and Elmarie Dyke Park, Jewell Park, Museum, Library, and a treasure hunt through town and participating businesses offering specials to their customers.

Saturday Evening, October 1st
5:00 to 7:00pm
Sunset Celebration at Point Pinos Lighthouse
Come watch the sunset over the Pacific Ocean while enjoying bites and sips, and entertainment – it’ll be a Hooptedoodle of an evening! It is a fundraiser for
Butterfly Days and The Heritage Society.
Tickets are available. Space is limited.
Sunday, October 2nd
9:00am to 4:00pm
Pancake Breakfast starts off our Sunday morning. Activities return to downtown as well as the other venues much as they were presented on Sunday, plus a lecture by author David Laws based on his book, Secret Monterey that includes many tales of Pacific Grove.
